Pick & Sort-To-Light

Pick & Sort -To-Light is an innovative picking and sorting system. Multiple color light signals are managed by RFID reading or auxiliary barcode/QRcode, speeding up and getting the most from manual processes. This solution is best applied in logistics and all of those scenarios where moving, sorting and picking objects on or from pallets and places is necessary. This solution is designed to be fully integrated in already operating RFID systems.

Ideally, during sorting items are identified via reading system and the light tower associated to the place lights up; this allows the operator to immediately identify the correct position where to place the item. A light signal could be emitted also when the order completed, and pallet or the container is ready to move. Finally, RFID gatesinstalled at the entrances and exits of the area can read the content of the pallet and complete the logistic flow tracking. In a similar way, the picking operations involve the identification of items via RFID technology, and the operator is guided to the right place by a light signal.

Pick & Sort-To-Light solution can be integrated with any reading system or device; the reading components are selected based on the needs: they could be mobile devices - just like the handheld device EYMCP and the tablet EYTC , wearable devices - the glove EYGC and the wrist reader EYWC, or fixed custom reading systems.
